Paws 4 Thought started in 2016 with a simple idea — that dogs deserve more than a kennel. Our ten-acre site sits in quiet Buckinghamshire countryside, split into safe, supervised groups of dogs with similar temperament and size.
Every dog gets individual attention, loads of stimulation, and comes home tired in the best way. Plus pick-up and drop-off if you need it.

From day care to one-to-one training, everything we offer is hands-on and tailored. No production lines, no cages, no shortcuts.
Day Care
Ten acres of safe, secure fields. Small groups matched by temperament. Pick-up and drop-off available.
Puppy Classes
Positive-reinforcement training covering sit, stay, come, loose-lead walking, and socialisation.
1-to-1 Training
Tailored sessions for behaviour issues, obedience, or advanced skills like agility.
Field Hire
Our secure 5-acre private field, just you and your dog. Ideal for reactive or nervous dogs.
Give your puppy the best possible start.
Our four-week puppy course is run on-site by qualified trainers using positive reinforcement. You'll bond with your dog, they'll socialise with theirs, and you'll both leave with the foundations for a lifetime.

Here's roughly how every day plays out. Timings flex with the group, the weather, and whoever's feeling bouncy.
Arrival
Door-to-door collection, or meet us at the gate with a wag.
Fields open
Grouped by size & temperament. Zoomies, sniffing, silliness.
Rest & reset
Quiet indoor time, fresh water, a cuddle if that's their thing.
Home time
Updates, photos on the feed, and drop-off to a very sleepy dog.
